A retired army soldier was killed after terrorists opened fire at his home in Kashmir's Kulgam district on Monday. His wife and daughter were also injured in the attack and remain in critical condition.
A top police official told India Today TV that terrorists targeted the retired soldier, Manzoor Ahmad Wagay, at his residence in Beghibagh, Kulgam.
In the attack, he, along with his wife and daughter, sustained serious injuries. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, but Wagay succumbed to his injuries.

Following the attack, security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the terrorists.
